1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Boardslist ("the Service"), operated by Fear to Faith Industries LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Boardslist provides AI-assisted surfboard recommendation services based on user-provided self-assessment data and peer reviews. The Service includes: Self Assessment ($10 one-time fee with 2 re-assessments included), Crew-Coach-Shaper Verdict (unlocked with 3+ peer reviews, free), Magic Board (blended recommendation, free), Re-Assessment Credits ($5 per 3 credits), and Board Quote forwarding (always free).
3. Recommendations Disclaimer
Boardslist recommendations are generated based on the data you provide and are intended as guidance only. We do not guarantee that any recommended board will be suitable for your specific needs. Surfboard selection involves personal preference, physical ability, and conditions that no automated system can fully account for. Always consult with a qualified surf instructor or shaper before making significant purchases.
4. Payment & Refunds
The $10 Self Assessment fee is charged at the time of first analysis generation. Re-assessment credit packs ($5 for 3 credits) are non-refundable once credits have been used. If a technical error prevented your assessment from being generated, contact us within 7 days for a full refund. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
5. User Accounts & Content
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, videos) but grant Boardslist a license to store and display that content to peer reviewers you invite. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.
6. Peer Reviews
By submitting a peer review, you certify that you have personally observed the surfer being reviewed and that your ratings reflect your honest assessment. False or manipulated reviews may result in account suspension. Boardslist reserves the right to remove reviews that appear fraudulent.
7. Credits & Earning
Re-assessment credits may be earned by receiving qualifying peer reviews from new, verified accounts. Boardslist reserves the right to determine what constitutes a qualifying review and to modify the credit earning system at any time with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Fear to Faith Industries LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Shred-It Community Standards
Shred-It is a user-generated content community. By posting or commenting you agree to follow our Community Standards, which prohibit harassment, hate speech, bullying, explicit content, threats, impersonation, doxxing, spam, scams, illegal content, and any material that sexually exploits minors. Violations of these standards — particularly any content involving minors — will result in immediate permanent account termination and, where required by law, reporting to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement. Boardslist may remove any content and suspend or permanently close any account at any time, at our sole discretion, for any violation.
10. Quiver Marketplace
Quiver is a peer-to-peer marketplace for surf gear. All transactions are strictly between buyer and seller — Boardslist is not a party to any sale, does not handle payment or shipping, and does not inspect, authenticate, or guarantee any listing, item condition, or user identity. Boardslist is not responsible for any damages, losses, fraud, or disputes arising from transactions conducted on or through this platform. All disputes are solely between buyer and seller. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian involved in any transaction. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and compliance with all applicable local laws, including tax obligations. Only legal items may be listed; no stolen, counterfeit, recalled, or prohibited goods. Boardslist reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
